I’ve been pretty excited about Jurassic World, I loved the first 3 films (yes, all 3, even the 3rd one) and this week I finally got to see it, but I’m not gonna lie, I found it disappointing at best.
I spent the run up to it thinking about dinosaurs and doodling dinosaurs, and of course, I made a pattern with dinosaurs.
And then things just got a bit out of hand, I may have been channelling my inner 80’s child on this one, but who doesn’t love pretty, pastel raptors?
I think this might make the perfect summer dress fabric.
Looks like the sunshine is back after a couple of dull, blustery days.
I have a fun weekend of family visits and zoo trips to look forward to so you can bet it’s going to rain all weekend, but I’m celebrating the sunshine while it lasts with a little ice cream pattern, inspired by a visit to Marine Ices earlier this week
Spring finally arrived recently, and although I’m a bigger fan of winter, I have to admit it was nice to have some sunshine for a change.
However, the arrival of spring also means the arrival of itchy eyes, runny noses, scratchy throats… the joys of hay fever. At least it inspired a little bit of lettering…
